HPS SPECIAL MP3 ALBUM DOWNLOAD VARIOUS ARTISTS - CELEBRATION FORTY Bought this album for the usual buck at the Golden West Swap Meet. The only reason I grabbed it was because of the intense and insane psaturated psychedelic nostalgia collage fold-out cover artwork. The album itself was "produced exclusively" for Allstate agents in 1971 to honor Allstate Insurance's 40th Anniversary and the album itself contains short semi-historical audio snippets covering a tiny bit of American history. On the album you'll find history stuff such as Jimmy Durante, Julie Andrews, Frank Sinatra, WC Fields, old time radio, Pearl Harbor, FDR, Joe McCarthy, etc blah blah blah - if you're looking for a true audio history of America you might as well look elsewhere, but this album is slightly fun (not really..) so whatever...

HPS BITCHIN' SUMMER FULL MP3 ALBUM DOWNLOAD ALLEN DREW - STAG PARTY This comedy album is fairly self-explanatory. Storyteller Allen Drew keeps them coming for what sounds like a captive audience. HPS BITCHIN' SUMMER FULL MP3 ALBUM DOWNLOAD CANDI CARLEY - SWEET CITY WOMAN We've had this particular album in the office for a few years and now finally we're posting it for us all to hear and experience. If you have super vision or a magnifying glass you can read all about Candi and her musical life on the back of the jpeg back album cover of this very album. If you can't or choose not to do this then you may have to live in ignorance of Candi and her important musical life. The music on this album is of the instrumental organ type which means it's all organ and it's all instrumental and which also means it's instrumental and organ-y. A few weeks ago I inherited a whole slew of vinyl LP albums from a friend
and as I was looking at and sorting through all the LPs I noticed that some
of the LP records came not within standard outer sleeves, but rather within
handmade and handpainted and collaged custom sleeves painted by my friend.
I find these artistic sleeves to be quite artistic and even though they contain some
unusual or semi-raunchy imagery I decided to post the LP sleeves here at HPS
There are 26 total painted and collaged LP sleeves and I've photographed
both sides of the sleeves, giving us a grand total of 52 pieces of artwork.
I knew my friend had dabbled in painting and other art forms,
but until I found these pictures I didn't know how serious he was.

 Talented artist, nice guy and friend of HPS Pat Moriarity has compiled and completely released a CD compilation called "A Tribute to Bad Lyrics" It's basically a bunch of people doing covers of songs with bad lyrics. The album is quite diverse and jolly and even informative at times and Pat put a lot of time and artistic effort into the whole project. Pat asked me to do a song for the album and I actually did one and it's called "Keep Those Hopes Up" and it's very Lo-Fidelity and even verges on No-Fidelity...but it's fun and here it is...
