HOUSEPLANT PICTURE STUDIO PRESENTS...

It's well known in record collector circles that I personally have one of the best
and most interesting late 60s and early 70s unusual Gospel album collections
in town and finally I am going to start posting some of the better albums right
here on the good old Houseplant Picture Studio internet website.
The Weatherford's album "It's Been Worth It" is one of the most
well-rounded and musically mature late 60s Gospel albums I've ever
heard - it has nice orchestral parts that resemble mid-period John Coltrane
and much very low bass singing and even a few upbeat numbers for Jesus
as well as standard hymns and excruciating spiritual dirges and such...
For those unfamiliar with this type of music, it's usually best to simply
allow the vocals and Christian sentiments to wash over you like a waterfall
and then (and only then) perhaps Jesus Christ Himself will visit you
and make you whole again and worthy of His love...enjoy!
